History
Lauren and Sean have been working
together, creating websites, networks, and computers,
since 1999. They used to work under the name Nerd
Designs, but opted for a new name and “corporate” identity
in January 2004. Same great service, new, less-filling
name.
Not
Really "Corporate"
OK, we’re not actually a
corporation, but that’s no accident. The
Such Great Heights founders believe in supporting
small, and especially local, businesses, and patronizing
large corporations only when no other option is
available. It is for this reason that we choose
to work exclusively with small businesses, entrepreneurs,
and home users. We believe that funneling efforts
and funding away from corporations is essential
to create a world where individuals, not corporations,
have control.
Company
Name
We chose to reinvent ourselves
under the name Such Great Heights for two important
reasons. First, we wanted to convey that we share
the goals of our clients, and are driven to bring
your business to such great heights. Secondly,
it happens to be the name of an
amazing song by
the group The
Postal Service, which both inspires
and delights us.
